Honestly, it is I/we who would like to thank you for truly capturing the moments that you did. We've show cased your work on our walls and the plethora of comments and awed gasps the prints have received are a credit to you. Speaking as a knackered new mum who shies away from mirrors frequently of late and hates photo's of herself, it is so nice to look at your work and feel lovely... It's amazing just how much our little girl's personality resonates through your pictures- what a talented one you are! (You can quote me on all that I've said by the way).

When you want a special photo, the personality of your photographer makes all the difference. Having over 25 family members starting from 2 years of age in one shot, you can imagine it would be quite a task. Dan definitely lived up to it! He calmed us down, got us organised and made us laugh, all at the same time. Even with all the extra shots required, the coordination of the orders, proofing the shots and arranging the viewings, Dan’s professionalism remained consistent and there wasn’t a time anything was too much trouble. Our order became quite complex and had a very tight deadline, needless to say all of our requests were met and still with a smile. Thank you so much, Dan. "My sister and I have, for many years, wanted some family photos with our mother included in the shoot. Mum is now reaching her twilight years and we had never ventured into the world of studio portraits with her. On arrival at the studio Mum was quite anxious about how she would look in the photos. The shoot became an enjoyable and fun adventure for all of us. Having avoided cameras for most of my adult life, it took a lot of convincing before I booked a session at Southern Exposure Photography for photos for a fathers day present. Even on the day, my sister had to drag me along. But Dan’s professionalism, humour, and easy going manner quickly had my sister, my six month old daughter, and myself laughing and smiling readily and before we knew it, we were reviewing dozens of great photos. Our biggest problem was deciding which photo was going to be IT! Not only was it a fun day, the photo was a fantastic gift. It brought tears to our Dads’ eyes and now hangs in pride of place in the house. Everyone who sees it says what a sensational photo it is and what a great idea. Many friends have seen it and decided that they must finally organize a photo session instead of just talking about it.
